New Historic Marker
"Cockrell's Counterattack" A new historic marker, "Cockrell’s Counterattack" was permanently placed on the Old Jackson Road midway between the Cross-roads and the Hill of Death during the 2018 Anniversary Event. To date, the Champion Heritage Foundation has placed ten historic markers on the battlefield.
